College Soccer Fitness Tests
Below is a sampling of different fitness tests from Division I, II, and III college soccer programs.
Women's Soccer
Nike Sparq YoYo Level 1 Intermittent Recovery Test
10 - 100 Yards Sprints
- 15 seconds or less with 45 second rest
- need to pass 8 out of 10 sprints to pass test
5 Laps around track
- 8:40 or below is considered passing
Manchester United Endurance Test
12, 150 Yard Shuttles
10, 120 Yard Sprints
- Sprint down length of field (120 yards) in 18 seconds and back in 40 seconds
- Everyone goes together with a 30 second recovery between each set
